David Donnelly
LAWYER
Born and raised in Bruce County, David worked for the Knights of Columbus as a financial planner until he returned to Western in 2001 to obtain his law degree.
David married and he and his wife reside in Mildmay where they raised their two children.
Dave was employed by Robert W. Garcia as a lawyer in 2004 and became a partner Garcia & Donnelly in 2007. Following the retirement of Robert Garcia, David became the sole proprietor.
In July 2021 the business name was changed and is now known as David J. Donnelly Professional Corporation.
David is an avid golfer and enjoys watching baseball, football and hockey. He also enjoys travelling.
David can assist you as you proceed through various stages of your life: from purchasing/selling a house; mortgage transactions; wills and powers of attorney; corporate matters; civil ligation; personal injury claims and estate planning.
David has successfully represented his clients in Small Claims Court, Superior Court and at the Ontario Divisional Court of Appeal.

Patti Grubb
PARALEGAL
Born and raised in Walkerton. She attended Georgian College where she obtained her legal secretary diploma in 1986, following which Patti joined the law firm which was taken over by Robert W. Garcia in 1987.
Patti is married and has two children.
Patti is an active participant in events occurring in her community. She enjoys being involved in volleyball, curling and golf. She and her husband also enjoy travelling.
In addition to being involved in the community, Patti enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Patti became a licensed paralegal in 2008. She is also a member of the Law Society of Ontario, Paralegal Society of Ontario and Ontario Trial Lawyers.
Patti has been dealing with Accident Benefit matters since 1991 and is very knowledgeable in this area. She will do her very best to see that a claimant receives all benefits to which he/she is entitled. Patti keeps apprised of the changes in legislation by participating in continuing education courses and reviewing the updates from the Law Society and Paralegal Society.

Karen Procknow
LITIGATION CLERK
Karen was raised on a farm in Bentinck Township.
Upon completion of her secondary school education, she was employed by a local lawyer.
Following her marriage and the birth of her first child she elected to remain at home to raise her children (3 in total).
Karen returned to the work force in 1988 and was employed by this firm which was then known as Robert W. Garcia. Karen is responsible for the bookkeeping and supports the civil litigation and personal injury practice.
Karen has been active in her community. She was a member of the Women’s Institute, 4-H leader, youth group leader and church organist/pianist.
Karen enjoys camping, scuba diving and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Karen Glasser
REAL ESTATE CLERK
Karen was born and raised in Normanby Township. She attended Lougheed Business College where she completed the legal secretary program.
Following completion of the course she obtained employment at a Kitchener law firm.
Karen returned to her home stomping grounds, where she secured employment with local lawyers. In 1988 Karen joined this practice which was then owned by Robert W. Garcia. Since that time, Karen has been our clients first contact for real estate transactions, corporate matters, wills and estates.
Karen is married and has two children and is a proud grandmother. She enjoys spending time with her family. She loves watching a good hockey or ball game. Her spare time in the summer is spent at her cottage and during the colder months you will find her in arenas cheering on her grandchildren.
